Dan Issel (Frmr ABA, NBA player,coach, Gen Manager) success - September 29th, 2012
On 9/17/12, I sent a letter, card and SASE to Dan Issel. I remember watching him play my Carolina Cougars when he played with the Kentucky Colonels in the ABA. He also played in the NBA. One of the great big men of his era. He coached and was general manager of the Denver Nuggets. He made some disparaging remarks towards the end of his career, but he was a class act and great role model. I received the card autographed on 9/27/12. If you would like his address, PM me and I will send it to you. I want to protect his privacy by not posting it publicly since he has gotten some negative press. I am thrilled to have this autograph from a man I respect and admire.
