George Wilkosz The Batboy in The Natural - October 15th, 2024 Director Barry Levinson of The Natural (1984), was looking, in his words, "for the perfect period bat boy -- chubby, innocent, wide-eyed. We finally found the kid working at his parents' produce stand in Buffalo. They were from Gdansk." Wilkosz was only 13 at the time. Last name is Polish, pronounced "VEEL-koe+sh" which translates to "Werewolf". This was the only film he was in.
Sent him 2 photos on 1 Oct and got them back signed on 15 Oct. Asked him if he was allowed to keep anything from the movie.. Said he was given his hat and the bat..
