On May16 I sent a letter picture and SASE to Moore and today I received it back signed and inscribed "HOF 75" as requested!

hof baltimore colts great-lenny moore success!!! - 2012年10月24日
I'm stoked to have gotten him back! I am trying to collect all of the living hof football players, tough project 4 sure. I sent a throwback baltimore colts mini helmet, a return mailing label, return postage, and a money order for $20. I sent it out 10/18 and received signed with the "hof 75" inscription on it as well. I have seen feedback th at he signs for $10, but those were for photos and index cards-fl at items. Sometimes players charge more 2 sign mini helmets so I sent him an extra $10-$20 total and it is worth it. He charges $25-$35 at shows and signings so I still saved money from wh at he normally charges. I'm stoked and it's another hof-er I can cross off the list. |

NFL HOFer HB "Lenny Moore" success - 2011年11月19日
He came to the Colts in 1956, and had a productive first pro season and was named the NFL Rookie of The Year. Moore was both a great runner and receiver. He lined up both in the backfield as a halfback and split wide as a flanker, and was equally dangerous at both positions in the offense engineered by quarterback Johnny Unitas. Moore averaged at least 7.0 yards a carry in several seasons. He made 40 receptions for 687 yards and seven touchdowns in 1957, the first of five straight years in which he would have 40 or more catches. In 1958, he caught a career-high 50 passes for 938 yards and seven touchdowns in helping the Colts win the NFL championship. Then in 1959, Moore had 47 receptions for 846 yards and six TDs as the Colts repeated as champions. Moore retired after the 1967 season. His uniform number 24 was retired by Baltimore, and in 1969 a sportswriters poll named him to the NFLs 50th Anniversary Team. In 1975, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In 1999, Moore was ranked number 71 on The Sporting News list of the 100 Greatest Football Players.

Lenny Moore - Football HOF - success - 2011年5月5日
Lenny signed and personalized my index card. He also inscribed "#24" and "HOF 75". Lenny also wrote a short note that due to collector and dealer fraud, he charges $10 which I will be sending his way.
