Newton Leroy "Newt" Gingrich (/?nu?t ?????r?t?/; born Newton Leroy McPherson; June 17, 1943) is an American politician, historian, author and political consultant. He represented Georgia's 6th congressional district as a Republican from 1979 until his resignation in 1999, and served as the 50th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. In 2012, Gingrich was a candidate for the Republican Party presidential nomination.
In the 1970s, Gingrich taught history and geography at the University of West Georgia. During this period he ran twice (1974 and 1976)[1 for the United States House of Representatives before winning in November 1978. He served as House Minority Whip from 1989 to 1995.
Sent him his book "Valley Forge" on 11 Mar and got it back signed 30 Apr.

Newt Gingrich Success x2 - 2011年12月11日
On 11/16/11, I sent 2 4x6 photos, a LOR, and a SASE to the address in the database. On 12/8/2011, I received my 2 photos signed in my SASE. It's odd though, he signed one of them twice, in silver Sharpie and in black. It's possible he signed it twice because it's hard to read the silver, but I don't know. None of the 3 signatures are perfect matches, so it's not an AP, but I wonder if they could be sec's. Any comments?
