Sid Bream( MLB player) - Read if planning to send - February 1st, 2013
If you are planning on sending a card or baseball to Sid Bream, please read this message. I sent him a letter, card and SASE on 1/12/13 and my card was returned unsigned in my SASE with a note. The note basically says he doesnt want to seem greedy, but he will sign cards for a $1 donation and a baseball, 8X10 or anything other than a card for a $3 donation. He wants cash because he doesnt want to mess with checks. He promises the money will go to Liberty University baseball or the Outdoor Dream Foundation. I have seen quite a few successes, so I was surprised to get this. Just wanted to give you a heads up. The card is in the photo, but the photo is blurry. I used the addy in the database.

Sid Bream success - January 17th, 2013
Sent Mr. Bream a LOR, SASE, one card, and three bucks on January 9th, 2013. Received my original card along with two other cards, all signed, January 17th, 2013.
Used addy in database.

Sid Bream failure... - July 3rd, 2012
On 6/23/12, I sent a letter, 2 cards, and a SASE to:

On 7/2 I received my cards back unsigned with a note saying that he requires $1 to sign a card and $3 to sign anything else (ball, 8x10, etc) but that 100% of the money will go to either Liberty University baseball or the Outdoor Dream Foundation. Sorry, no scan of the note. |
