I'm a VERY happy bunny getting this through the post today.
Sent a letter, photo with SAE in 2010. No joy.
Sent a letter, photo, return envelope and IRCs 2011. No joy.
May 17th 2012 - sent ONLY a letter of request and today recieved a signed photo of the legend Wes Craven. I grew up loving his films, still do.
I'm pleased, as in my letter I wrote 5 questions that I would love to know, and Wes answered them on the photo!!!
One of the questions was, 'What are Wes Cravens top 3 films of his' - he wrote 'Hills, Nightmare, Scream' - the next question I wrote was what are Wes' fave 3 films of all time, to which he wrote - 'See above' lol!
I wrote to the Craven/Madelana films address on the database, but noticed on the envelope he sent, the address is:

Sent Wes a letter,sase & 3 photos wrote to the address in the database.Received all 3 signed and a little thankyou note signed as well.They all match my IP i got from him a few years ago at a book signing.
I had seen a couple of responses from him in the last couple of weeks and i was thinking of writing again as i wrote to him 7 months ago but i thought nah ill just wait a little longer and voila my package turned up.Very happy !
Now im just waiting on George Romero and Tobe Hooper to complete all my fave horror directors.
