Kenneth J. David Medal Of Honor Vietnam - 2026年4月6日 Kenneth J. David (born 21 January 1950) is a retired United States Army soldier who received the Medal of Honor on 3 January 2025 for his actions on 7 May 1970 during the Vietnam War.
He was deployed to South Vietnam in January 1970, joining Company D, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.
He was wounded in action on 7 May 1970 at Firebase Maureen in the Thua Thien Province of Vietnam. He refused medical attention while fighting off the enemy and protecting other wounded soldiers. For his actions he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. Decades later it was upgraded to The Medal Of Honor.
