non-productive reply from Julie Andrews - November 4th, 2011
On 9/9/11, I sent an autograph request to Ms. Andrews, including an SSAE and 3x5 card. On 11/4/11, I received a reply from her personal assistant, saying that she is no longer able to make the time to personally sign all requests, due to time time constraints. I did receive a b & w photo of her, though. Address on the letter was

Julie Andrews disapoointing but great success - September 20th, 2011
I sent a letter and SAE with US Stamps on to Julie on: 11th August 2011, and today I recieved this unsigned photo of Julie along with this note.  Still very pleased with this, their was even more postage on the SAE.

Julie Andrews Failure! - August 8th, 2011
I sent the request in January to the address in the database. I sent her 5 photos, LOR, $3 and a SAE. Today I received back a letter saying that Julie no longer signs. Quite sad! The photos are below.    |

I had heard she wasnt fond of signing pictures TTM and normally sends off a PP. I also heard that she more often signs her books. I took a chance and sent both a book and a photo on 02/18/11 and received both of them back signed on 6/28/11  .

About a month ago, I posted how I purchased a signed copy of Dame Julie's most recent children's book because I was almost certain I would never receive my book back signed...BUT HERE IT IS!!! And it's PERSONALIZED!!! Woo!!!
